Central Boat Rentals, Inc. has added the M/V Miss Olivia to its fleet following new construction at Halimar Shipyard in Morgan City, LA.
The 2,400 horsepower vessel features a triple-screw propulsion system powered by three Mitsubishi S6R2 Tier 3 engines, each rated at 803 horsepower at 1,400 RPM. The project expands the company’s fleet with a vessel configured for the demands of daily service.
The build reflects Central Boat Rentals' continued investment in dependable, high-performing vessels built to deliver day after day.
Laborde Products supplied the Mitsubishi engines and worked with both the shipyard and the owner throughout the build process. With the Miss Olivia now operating in the field, the completed vessel adds to a lineup of equipment built around proven engine platforms and straightforward serviceability.
“This was a well-executed build for a customer that runs a hardworking fleet,” said Bradley Matte, Sales Representative at Laborde Products. “Everything about this package lines up with how Central Boat Rentals operates day in and day out.”
